Following performances in London (Cafe OTO), Vilnius (Radvila Palace Museum of Art), Warsaw (Fryderyk Chopin University of Music), Prague (Alfred ve dvoře), Brno (Vašulka Kitchen) and Belgrade (Cultural Centre of Belgrade), NO HAY BANDA will conclude their European tour at KONTEJNER on 26 September 2026 at 6 pm.
Tickets are available in presale at a price of 7,00 EUR via the ENTRIO system, while tickets purchased on the day of the concert will cost 11,00 EUR.
Admission is free for persons with disabilities, those over 65 years of age and children under 16.

Sarah Davachi: "Three Unisons for Four Voices" (70’)
for violin, cello, bass clarinet, trombone, percussion & ondes Martenot / electronics
"Three Unisons for Four Voices" (2024) is a piece primarily about texture and incidental harmony. The four "voices" of the ensemble (strings, winds, percussion, ondes Martenot / electronics) proceed in a slow-moving monody that is made into a sort of variable canon by way of open and offset timings. As players gradually fall in and out of step with one another, the ear begins to focus on the acoustic spaces in between, bringing into question what it means for a sound to be felt as functioning in unison. The piece has been commissioned by NO HAY BANDA.

Montreal-based organization committed to the production, performance, and presentation of music rooted in exploratory and avant-garde practices. NO HAY BANDA presents an annual concert series in Montreal that features a variety of local and visiting artists, and represents a flexible ensemble of musicians - a “house band” of sorts - that performs and tours original productions. Throughout these activities, NO HAY BANDA aims to provide a space for artists working on the fringes of established genres to realize projects that would not take place otherwise. Furthermore, NO HAY BANDA records and produces albums that are released on the in-house record label, No Hay Discos. NO HAY BANDA was founded in 2016 by three Montreal-based musicians - Daniel Áñez, Noam Bierstone, and Geneviève Liboiron - and is a proud recipient of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Ensemble Prize 2026.

A composer and performer whose work is concerned with the close intricacies of timbral and temporal space, utilizing extended durations and alternate tuning systems to underscore gradual variations in texture, overtone complexity, harmonic resonance, intonation, and psychoacoustic phenomena. Her compositions span solo, chamber ensemble, and acousmatic formats, incorporating a wide range of both acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Similarly informed by minimalist and longform structures, early music concepts of intervallic relation and affect, as well as experimental production practices of the studio environment, in her sound is an intimate and patient experience that reconfigures perceptions of the familiar and the distant.
