As versatile musicians, composers and multimedia artists, Gladović and Kiers have become
top names of today’s sound and audiovisual art due to their work in the contemporary
experimental music scene and other innovative art projects. In addition to a number of
collaborations, both are members of the audiovisual group Inconsolable Ghost. Their
performance at the Touch Me festival is also their first electronic duet.

Miodrag Gladović (HR)
Miodrag Gladović is an electrical engineer, musician, and multimedia artist. For many years he has been a prominent figure on the contemporary art scene, both as one half of the artistic duo Lightune.G with Bojan Gagić and through his independent practice. Combining engineering expertise with exceptional creativity, he consistently contributes to the innovation of the projects in which he participates.His work is shaped by a combination of punk sensibility and DIY ethics, more than three decades of musical experience across stylistically diverse bands and projects, the integration of new technologies into artistic practice, and a strong affinity for contemporary music and art. These qualities have established Gladović as one of the leading figures on the contemporary experimental music scene, as well as within broader innovative artistic practices.
Gideon Kiers (NL)
Gideon Kiers studied interaction design at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht and
holds an MA in Interactive Multimedia. He also studied Image and Sound at the
interdisciplinary faculty of The Royal Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Art in The
Hague. He works as an independent filmmaker, musician, software programmer, curator and
producer. Together with David Kiers and Lucas van der Velden he founded an experimental
sound and image collective Telcosystems. The collective creates immersive spatial
experiences that explore the interaction between technology, human expression and
machine behavior. Their films, installations and performances have been presented at IFFR,
Transmediale, Sonar, Oberhausen, Ann Arbor, Videoex, EYE Filmmuseum, De Appel, Wood
Street Galleries, STRP Biennale, SXSW, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and many more.
Telcosystems’ film Loudthings received the Grand Prix at 25 FPS in Zagreb and the Gus
Van Sant Award for Best Experimental Film at the Ann Arbor Film Festival. Since 1998, he
has been involved with Sonic Acts Festival in Amsterdam as a producer and programme
curator. He was a founding member of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount
Fuji Doomjazz Corporation. He now plays in occult audio-visual group Inconsolable Ghost
with Hilary Jeffery and others. Gideon lives in Zagreb.
