EMAP – European Media Art Platform is the largest international platform for residencies of emerging artists that connects 15 leading European cultural institutions and organizations dedicated to new media art. With the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the aim of the platform is to support artists working in the field of digital arts, especially emerging artists who work critically and in an innovative way with (not only digital) technology.
500 artists from 37 countries submitted their project proposals to the EMAP open call and 15 European media artists and artist groups were selected for residencies in 2022:
