Every day during the Venice Biennale of Art, a group of 5 performers will perform several times of day. All parameters of each performance (space, time, formations, etc.) will be generated by an AI creating precise instructions. The minimalistic, precise, and variable performance will be created by Tomo Savić-Gecan and choreography assistant Irma Omerzo.

The total maximum number of participants is 35.

In addition to paid travel, accommodation and local transport expenses in Venice, the performers will be compensated for their work.

Commitments on the project include a stay in Venice between April 23 and November 27, 2022, in a block of a minimum of 5 to 6 weeks, during which performances will take place daily. It is possible, depending on the availability of participants, to participate in several blocks according to dates indicated below.

The project also includes rehearsals from October 8-10, 2021; December 10-12, 2021; and January 31 – February 7, 2022, at Pogona Jedinstvo, Trnjanski nasip bb, Zagreb as well as public performances in March 2022 in Zagreb.

  3.) 11.7. - 14.8.2022 (5 weeks)
  4.) 15.8. - 18.9.2022 (5 weeks)
  5.) 19.9. - 23.10.2022 (5 weeks)
  6.) 24.10. - 27.11.2022 (5 weeks)

Since the project will take place abroad, all participants must have a COVID passport and/or other necessary medical documents for travel and work.

Selected performers will be notified about the results of the open call within one week after the deadline. Depending on the number of applications, the organizer reserves the right that the first two rehearsals are selective.
