Kick-off of the project European Hybrid Intelligence Network in Ljubljana

Last week, from 12 to 13 March, the KONTEJNER team took part in the first partners’ meeting of the new international project - European Hybrid Intelligence Network (EHIN), that was held in Ljubljana and is implemented within the framework of the Creative Europe programme.

EHIN brings together six European organisations with the aim of creating innovative spaces for creative synergy — places where artists, scientists, engineers and practitioners join forces. Drawing on cutting-edge research into the bio-computational capacities of non-human organisms, radical artistic approaches, and the “wisdom” of natural systems, teams within EHIN will create new artistic works.

The project is led by Kersnikova Institute (SI), with KONTEJNER (HR) as a partner, alongside:
CPN – Centre for the Promotion of Science (RS)
Gluon (BE)
LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial (ES)
ZKM – Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe (DE)

The two-day meeting in Ljubljana provided an opportunity for partners to get to know each other better, to plan project activities in detail, and to lay the foundations for future collaboration. By participating in the project, KONTEJNER continues to strengthen its international partnerships and contribute to the development of innovative artistic practices at both local and European levels.
