Tereza Teklić

Director and Curator

Holds MA degrees in Art History and German Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Since 2008 she has worked as a coordinator, project manager, and curator at KONTEJNER, and in that capacity has realized and curated numerous exhibitions and festivals in Croatia and internationally (Zagreb, Rijeka, Dubrovnik, Prague, Montreal, and beyond). From 2011 to 2018 she was part of the curatorial team of Mochvara Gallery and the production platform Sound Art Incubator, both collaborative projects with the Culture Development Association and Mochvara Club, Zagreb. Since 2019 she has been the project manager and curator of the EU project EMAP − European Media Art Platform, an international network of residencies for emerging media artists.

Davorka Begović

Deputy Director and Head of Music Program

She graduated Musicology at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. Since 2005, she has been working in the field of culture and arts as a selector and producer, primarily of music projects, but also of theatre, contemporary dance, multimedia, and film projects. From 2011 to 2018, she held the position of the Music Programme Artistic Director at Music Salon of the SC Culture of Change, where, alongside the year-round programme, she initiated and artistically and production-wise led the international festival “Showroom of Contemporary Sound”. Besides her work in the field of music, she had been active in the film industry for many years, after which she devoted herself entirely to curatorial and concert promotion work, further developing her expertise and specialising in the field of contemporary (experimental) music and related art forms.

Ana Bedenko

Senior Program Associate

Holds MA degrees in Art History and French Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Also studied at the École pratique des hautes études in Paris. Participated in various research, curatorial and publishing projects such as the 14th Venice Architecture Biennial, “Female Design History in Croatia 1930-1980: Context, Production, Influences”. Works as an independent translator, writer and editor. Worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb on curatorial and archiving projects, and at Oris magazine where she was an editor of Oris magazine and other publications for several years. Recipient of Schuman Traineeship grant of the European Parliament in Brussels. She completed the Women’s Studies Educational Program at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Zagreb. Member of KONTEJNER since 2022.

Ivana Šešlek

Senior Program Associate

Holds an MA in Art History and Philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She spent part of her graduate studies at the University of Tübingen where she researched the topics of her master’s theses. After her studies, she worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art as Head of the Education Department. She has collaborated on multiple curatorial, research and European projects and programmes, e.g. Design+Exhibitions, Possibilities for ’22, WHW Academy, CinEd – European Cinema Education for Youth. Her main interests are exploring various topics and areas of contemporary art through interdisciplinary approach and art as an educational tool. She completed a programme for EU project manager at Algebra University.

Nikolina Kovačević

Administrative and Organizational Associate

She holds a BA in Art History and Spanish Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. After completing her studies, she devoted herself to musical creation. She gained professional experience at Croatian Radiotelevision, working as an assistant director from 2022 to 2025, after which she joined the KONTEJNER team as an administrative and organisational associate.

Olga Majcen Linn

Curator, Theorist and Development Consultant

A curator and art critic based in Zagreb. She holds a PhD in arts and media from the Faculty of Media and Communications, Belgrade. In 2002 she cofounded the nonprofit organization KONTEJNER. Among its most significant projects are the Touch Me Festival, the Device_art Festival, the Extravagant Bodies Festival, and DIY_ARTLAB. In the course of her curatorial work, Linn has authored and/or published more than a dozen books, catalogues, and readers.

Sunčica Ostoić

Theorist and Development Consultant

An independent researcher of art at the intersection of science, technology, and the body based in Zagreb. She graduated in Art history and Philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and holds a PhD in Arts and Media from the Faculty of Media and Communications, Belgrade (mentor prof dr Miodrag Šuvaković). In 2002 she co-founded and for many years led NGO KONTEJNER where she initiated and curated the internationally renowned art festivals Extravagant Bodies, Touch Me and Device_art. She is a guest lecturer and external collaborator at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb.

Jadrana Ćurković

Marketing Associate

Communications and marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience. Founded the business consultancy 200C in 2015, with a mission to support small organisations and provide consulting services on larger projects. Since 2019, leads communications for the global science and architecture award The Daylight Award.Collaboration with KONTEJNER began in 2018 at the Device_art festival, where an educational programme for young artists and cultural professionals was initiated. Contributes to project development and market communication strategies and develops partnerships between KONTEJNER and the business sector.With a background in interior design and entrepreneurship economics, particularly committed to fostering entrepreneurial thinking and interdisciplinarity within Croatia’s creative sector.

Inesa Antić

PR and Social Media Associate

She works as a communications consultant and PR professional in the fields of culture and contemporary art, focusing on the development of communication narratives and the coordination of visibility for leading national artistic collectives, institutions, and events. She regularly collaborates with KONTEJNER, the curatorial collective WHW, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, the Organ Vida Festival, and the Music Biennale Zagreb. She was a member of the Croatian Pavilion team at the Venice Biennale in 2022 and 2024. She holds an MA in Political Science, completed the Restart School of Documentary Film, and is the author of several short video works and documentaries.

Jakov Habjan

KONTEJNER venue Manager

A product designer and member of the Vjesnik workshop. He has collaborated with KONTEJNER since the renovation of the newly occupied space in Odranska, and is responsible for the technical aspects and exhibition design, as well as the production of scenographic elements and overall technical support within the space.

William Linn

Exhibition Design Associate

Founder and director of Blasthaus, he established the first dedicated art-and-technology gallery in the USA, which operated for over a decade, combining media art, electronic music, and cultural programmes. Alongside this, he works as a media artist and designer, producing events, concerts, and stage designs. Since relocating to Croatia in 2007, he continues to work as an artist, programmer, DJ/VJ, and exhibition designer for KONTEJNER, as well as for numerous local galleries, artists, and organisations.

Andrija Santro

Light design and Technical Production Associate

A lecturer, artist, and lighting designer for concerts, festivals, theatre, performances, and exhibitions. He specialises in club culture, with references including Dimensions, Momento Demento, Terraneo, Seasplash, Goulash Disco, and Freemental. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb and subsequently joined AKC Medika, where he developed a strong DIY and problem-solving ethos. As a musician, he performs with Bamwise, I-tal Jam, Pridjevi, and Digitron Soundsystem.

Filip Pacak

Sound Design and Technical Production Associate

An audio engineer with many years of experience in the cultural and arts sector. In addition to his work as a technician, he is also involved in the organisation and logistics of concerts. Besides KONTEJNER, Pacak is a regular collaborator of the Močvara club, Pogon Jedinstvo, the INmusic Festival, and numerous other organisations. He regularly runs technical workshops aimed at training future organisers, technicians, curators, and producers.

Miodrag Gladović

Audio Engineering and Technical Production Associate

An electrical engineer, musician, and multimedia artist. He is active on the art scene both independently and as part of the duo Lightune.G with Bojan Gagić, and continuously contributes to the innovation of the projects he engages in through his engineering expertise and creativity. The combination of a punk approach and DIY ethos, extensive musical experience, the use of new technologies, and a sensibility for contemporary music and art makes him a prominent figure in the experimental music scene and innovative artistic practices.
