Tereza Teklić

curator and project manager

Tereza Teklić holds degrees in art history and German language and literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Since 2008 she has worked as a coordinator, project manager, and curator at KONTEJNER, and in that capacity has realized and curated numerous exhibitions and festivals in Croatia and internationally (Zagreb, Rijeka, Dubrovnik, Prague, Montreal, and beyond). From 2011 to 2018 she was part of the curatorial team of Mochvara Gallery and the production platform Sound Art Incubator, both collaborative projects with the Culture Development Association CDA and Mochvara Club, Zagreb. Since 2019 she has been project manager of the EU project EMAP − European Media Art Platform, an international network of residencies for emerging media artists.

Davorka Begović

curator and project manager

Graduated Musicology at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. For the last 15 years, she has been working in the field of culture and art as a selector and a producer, primarily of music, but also theatre, contemporary dance, multimedia and film projects. She was an associate from the very beginning of the Culture of Change Programme at the Student Centre Zagreb, where afterwards she held the position of the Music Programme Artistic Director. Within that framework she initiated, artistically ran and produced the international festival Showroom of Contemporary Sound. Besides her work in the field of music, she had been active in the film industry for many years (Motovun Film Festival, Spiritus Movens, CineLink, Studio Dim), but after that she entirely devoted herself to artistic and curatorial work, improving and specializing in the field of contemporary (experimental) music and related art forms. Currently, she works as a freelance musicologist and curator at KONTEJNER, where she runs the international project Re-Imagine Europe, an experimental sound event Gibanja and other sound related projects. As an associate she lectures „Sound as the Visual Art Expression“ at the Animated Film and New Media Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She publishes critics and articles, writes texts for discography and other releases.

Ana Bedenko

Holds MA degrees in Art History and French Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Also studied at the École pratique des hautes études in Paris. Participated in various research, curatorial and publishing projects such as the 14th Venice Architecture Biennial, “Female Design History in Croatia 1930-1980: Context, Production, Influences”. Works as an independent translator, writer and editor. Worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb on curatorial and archiving projects, and at Oris magazine where she was an editor of Oris magazine and other publications for several years. Recipient of Schuman Traineeship grant of the European Parliament in Brussels. She completed the Women’s Studies Educational Program at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Zagreb. Member of KONTEJNER since 2022.

Olga Majcen Linn

curator

Olga Majcen Linn is a curator and art critic based in Zagreb. She holds a PhD in arts and media from the Faculty of Media and Communications, Belgrade. In 2002 she cofounded the nonprofit organization KONTEJNER, which presents contemporary, intermedia, and interdisciplinary art operating in the fields of art and technology, art and science, and live art. Among its most significant projects are the Touch Me Festival, the Device_art Festival, the Extravagant Bodies Festival, and DIY_ARTLAB. In the course of her curatorial work, Linn has authored and/or published more than a dozen books, catalogues, and readers.

Sunčica Ostoić

Sunčica Ostoić (HR, 1976) is an independent researcher of art at the intersection of science, technology, and the body based in Zagreb. She graduated in Art history and Philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and holds a PhD in Arts and Media from the Faculty of Media and Communications, Belgrade (mentor prof dr Miodrag Šuvaković). In 2002 she co-founded and for many years led NGO KONTEJNER where she initiated and curated the internationally renowned art festivals Extravagant Bodies, Touch Me and Device_art. She is a guest lecturer and external collaborator at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb.

Jadrana Ćurković

communication and marketing consultant

Communication expert with more than 25 years of work experience, and with 20 years of experience in marketing management of international companies. In 2015 she has founded the 200C company, with the mission to consult SMEs and work on different projects of a larger scale. Since 2019 she is responsible for communication of a biennial award for research and architecture, presented by one Danish philanthropic foundation. At the same time, Jadrana collaborates with student associations and incubators, and mentors young startup teams initiating their own businesses. Along with her daily job, she regularly supports creative initiatives in cultural sector and helps with her skills and knowledge in the areas of project development, marketing, communication and partnership with business sector. In 2018 she starts to collaborate with KONTEJNER, on the Device_art festival. In the next couple of years she develops and implements educational programme for young artists. As an interior designer and an entrepreneurship economist, she finds her passion in stimulating entrepreneurship spirit in cultural and creative sector in Croatia, where she offers consulting based on experience and success accomplished in international companies, globally and in Croatia.
