Are you tired of making music in your own four walls? Do you have loads of material that’s always “almost” finished? Are you looking for people to share your music with, create new work, and learn along the way?
You’re not alone!
Apply to join the meetup organised by KONTEJNER and OTOK, and connect with others who share the same struggles, but also consult with more experienced producers. If you like the idea, you’ll have the opportunity over the following months to collaborate on producing and performing your music under the guidance of mentors: Kristijan Bagarić (varboska), Ivona Eterović (tonote), and Filip Talijić (takvog).
The meetup will take place on 15 April 2026 at KONTEJNER, starting at 6 p.m. During the session, you’ll meet members of OTOK, KONTEJNER, and other participants, exchange experiences, interests, and music, and decide who you’d like to collaborate with during the project. The number of participants is limited, so in case of a high number of applications, the organisers will select attendees.
How to apply?
Send your application to kontejner@kontejner.org including the following information:
- Short biography
- What equipment and software do you use? (DAW, hardware or software synthesiser, drum machines, etc.)
- How long have you been involved in music production?
- Which area of music production interests you the most?
Application deadline: 8 April 2026, 23:59 CET
The music producers’ meetup was organised as part of the project Sound Experiments, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
OTOK is a music production community founded in Zagreb in 2024. It was established by Kristian Bagarić, Ivona Eterović and Filip Talijić with the aim of educating and networking amateur and professional music producers. The community’s core programme takes place once a month at the Multimedia Institute (Klub Mama in Zagreb), and includes workshops, guest artist talks, and social gatherings for music production enthusiasts. Over its two years of activity, OTOK has collaborated with independent collectives, organisations and institutions such as the VOLTA collective, Klub Mama, the Music Biennale Zagreb, and the Multimedia Cultural Centre Split.
