ZEZ x KONTEJNER: 8th Exhibition of Sound - Open Call for Artists
Zavod za eksperimentalni zvuk (ZEZ) and KONTEJNER organization are inviting Croatian and regional (ex-Yu) sound artists to apply for the eight edition of the Exhibition of Sound with their performances, sound installations, audio and A/V artworks, and all other media and experimental artworks which use sound as a constitutive element or main media. This year’s edition is going to be carried out in collaboration of KONTEJNER association and ZEZ, i.e. KSET. The multimedia exhibition is going to be held from 9th till 16th of November 2023 in Zagreb, and application deadline is 18th September 2023 at 4 p.m. CET.

A Sea Change project at MADE IN Dialogues
KONTEJNER is participating in the initial presentation of the project Adriatic Sea Sources, which marks the start of MADE IN Dialogues as part of the Platform for Contemporary Crafts & Design, that includes experts from the field of arts, design, science, museology and crafts. We are happy to present our program Heard by the Deep (part of KONTEJNER's EU project A Sea Change), which we organized in Split in May 2023. A series of lectures will be held on Tuesday, June 27 in the premises of the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum in Zagreb, starting at 10 a.m.

Presentation of the Sound Experiments project in the framework of the Festival-in-Opposition platform in Novi Sad
On Saturday, 10.6.2023., curator and musicologist Davorka Begović (KONTEJNER) and guitar player, composer and music pedagogue Pavle Jovanović will present the educative modul "Collectiveness: Creating sounds together" (developed as a part of our project Sound Experiments) in the framework of the Festival-in-Opposition platform in Novi Sad.
