New edition of Motions, an experimental sound event

Motions presents an exciting programme from the field of experimental sound expressions, sound art, spatial sound and audio-visual artistic practices. Motions represent a space for sound and a space of sound - experimental space for contemporary music tendencies, intersections of sound and new technologies as well as immersive sound and audio-visual experiences with special emphasis on those that change the way we listen and precieve sound. Second edition of Motions takes place from 9th to 12th November 2022 in Zagreb - Pogon Jedinstvo, Peti kupe, Museum of Contemporary Art and Močvara club.

Realities in Transition - OPEN CALL for residencies

Together with partners of the international project Realities in Transition, KONTEJNER is calling for creative XR projects that reimagine and expand the notions of XR while following a critical, reflective line of thought and promoting a common, open, sustainable XR at a European level. Seven projects will be invited to take part in a residency program at V2_Lab in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The deadline for application is 18th December 2022 at 23:59 CET.

Robots minting NFTs – presentation of the EMAP residency

As part of this years’ EMAP residency, KONTEJNER welcomed three Japanese artists – So Kanno, Akihiro Kato and Takemi Watanuki that focused on the further development of the work Kazokutchi. The artists will present the work in progress on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 19:00 h at Pogon Jedinstvo, small hall.

Nika Oblak & Primož Novak in Gallery VN in Zagreb

Exhibition of kinetic video installations by Nika Oblak & Primož Novak, an artistic duo from Slovenia, is open at Gallery VN in Zagreb from September 27th to October 15th. Exhibition opening is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27th at 7 p.m., and Gallery VN opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Open call for “ASH MA - Art, Science and Health Master of Arts” Online Pilot Course

A new international and transdisciplinary Master of Arts programme on the topic of Art, Science and Health will be showcased, tested and evaluated during a one-week Pilot Course held online in English language for a maximum of 40 participants, from Monday, November 7, to Friday, November 11, 2022, every day from 5.00 p.m. CET.
