UJOO+LIMHEEYOUNG is a Seoul-based artist duo formed by Yoo Byoung-Joon (1976) and Lim Hee-Young (1979). Since beginning their collaboration in 2004, they have developed a practice centered on kinetic art, exploring contradictions and absurdities in social, political, and cultural contexts. Their work has been presented in Korea and internationally, including at major institutions such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Amorepacific Museum of Art, as well as at Teatros del Canal, The Lowry, and Arsenal Contemporary Art. They received an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica (2026) and were longlisted for The Lumen Prize (2023) and named finalists (2024). Their works are included in the collections of MMCA Art Bank, Seoul Museum of Art, and Hyundai Motors.
